Bronze Figure of Buddha
with 2 monks

18/19^th Century

Height: 15,7/14,6/14,2 cm 


The Buddha is standing in samabhanga, his right hand in abhayamudra, the other stretched  along his body. Beside two monks sitting in meditation.  All 3 have smiling faces with smiling lips and  elongated earlobes. The Buddha has a  usnisha which is surmounted by a flame. Beautiful gilding and traces of red lacquer gives this group a lovely patina.
