Khmer Bronze. The deity Ganesha sits
with crossed legs, he holds his own
broken - off tusk in his right and a
sweet in his left hand. As a remover of
obstacles he is worshipped before new
ventures or a journey. His sampot has a
huge butterfly bow at the back. Very
beautiful multicolored patina, with rare
traces of gilding, one of the most
beautiful patinas I have seen.Very fine
details, beautiful face and
expression.
